I watched the debate while attempting to analyze my own perceptions and perspective, and the effect of those on my opinion.

Sarah Palin will not become the Veep this year (or next), but she used this greatest opportunity of her life to establish a permanent place, legitimately, in American history.

I think this will be a springboard for more from Sarah Palin in the future.

I liked her comment about the news pundits "who will now tell the television audience what they just heard" as pinpointing a possibly superfluous benefit - for some, if not many, listeners.
